Does RPM support automatic email alerts when metrics pass a certain threshold? If not, is this feature planned?

Inappropriate?Lew, one thing that would be invaluable would be alerts for frozen mongrel/thin processes. These are relatively difficult to find and I've found RPM very helpful in diagnosing these problems. Hopefully this will be in the alerts release! -
Inappropriate?Great idea, Matt. We can easily track Mongrel Queue lengths and should look at alerting on growing queues. I'm not sure how easy it is to track similar indicators for hanging thin instances but we can put it on the list. Thanks!

Inappropriate?I actually run thin and the way I usually tell is when the average application throughput is above zero but one or more instances is stuck at zero requests per minute.
