Does rpm work with JRuby? I was not able to install the plugin successfully with jruby-1.1.3.

I installed rpm with jruby-1.1.2 and glassfish v3 TP2 on Mac OSX before, it worked well.
I'll try out jruby-1.1.3 soon to see how it works with rpm. BTW, what platform are you on? Mac or Windows? Do you use a app server?

I got this error trying to install on solaris 10 with jruby-1.1.3. I've done some runs with an appserver and some runs without.

Inappropriate?Meloh I have a suspicion about what might be a problem. Can you give some details about what problem you had when using the plugin?
Using glassfish?
Were there errors on startup?
Was this the developer mode? Were there errors accessing the page?
Did the plugin prevent the rails app from starting up?
What error messages if any appeared in your log files, including the newrelic_agent log files if they exist?

I just tried installing rpm with an app usng jruby1.1.3 with glassfish 3.0.1 on Mac OSX, it works fine, I can see the performance data in rpm site.
So the problem you are seeing may be specific to the environment that you are in. We can trouble shoot it after you gather more detail information.
