Is there any way to use NewRelic for our daemons?
We have 2 slices with mongrels that report to NewRelic just fine. That gives us a great overview of host load in addition to some nice analytics.
Now, we've added a 3rd slice with maintenance daemons and cron tasks, that will not serve any mongrel requests. Is there a way to use NewRelic for that? If not for analytics, then at least it would be good if this slice appeared in NewRelic dashboard as a third host, so we could see memory/CPU usage stats.
Thanks in advance for any answer.
