Licensing model and total number of mongrels?
I'm wondering how you apply your licensing to mongrel instances. Is it by number of mongrels assigned to an app, or by total number of running mongrels that the NR plugin is working for. We have a Basic plan we plan to use on 1 app that runs 10 mongrels, but is running on three load balanced servers. Any info would be appreciated.

Inappropriate?Hi there,
We currently manage mongrels on a first come, first served basis for your account. So if you have a Basic account, the first 10 mongrels to connect will be able to send data to RPM. If one goes away (stops and doesn't restart shortly thereafter), the next mongrel to start or restart will "take its place".
FYI, we will be announcing a new pricing model soon that prices by host rather than mongrel, which will make this easier for you.
Thanks!
