Named Scopes Support?
How do named scopes appear in the Performance Breakdown? I would like to know if it shows up as Model#find or DirectSQL. Either way, including the named scope(s) in performance breakdown would be helpful.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Aaron, sorry for the delayed reply.
Named Scopes will surface as Model#find metrics.
It's a good suggestion to call them out separately. We'll definitely take that under consideration.

Inappropriate? In general, breaking finds down by the columns they access would be helpful, just seeing User.find feels pretty nondescript now.

Inappropriate?I agree although it would pretty much explode the metric namespace for us. You do get finer granularity in the transaction traces (part of Silver) but we're unlikely to add this much detail to the metric space any time soon.
It's probably more likely we'll break out View metric into the partial names. Would likely be a much smaller metric space and we've had a lot of requests for that. -
Inappropriate?Great, thanks. I've also recently discovered the wonderful query-reviewer, which should help in the non-production side of things (where this level of granularity is more appropriate.)
I’m appreciative

Inappropriate?I should also mention you get this detailed view in the developer mode (free) as well.
