Pictures in newsletter
I have som pictures in my newsletter, but when I send a test to my gmail-account the pictures are not shown. Even when I click "show pictures". Why is that? And can I be sure that this will work in the campaign?

Inappropriate?Hi Jon
I've just review the campaign that you created and found that the links to the images that you uploaded via template editor are wrong.
In other words, they are looking like this: "../images/2033/bibelskole.jpg"
But should be "http://app.newsberry.com/images/2033/bibelskole.jpg".
Of course you should not worry about making all images that you uploading with absolute path. We implemented it in the way that once you upload the images, its automatically converts relative path to absolute.
But, for some reason in your situation its not happened. Could you tell me, did you change your image links manually?
If not, could you tell me the way how you insert images and what you did?
I promise to help you right away -
Inappropriate? There are two ways of how to solve the issue.
First one is remove images from the campaign content and insert them again.
The second is correct your links from relative to absolute path so the link
"../images/2033/bibelskole.jpg" will look like
"http://app.newsberry.com/images/2033/bibelskole.jpg".
Tell me how it help -
Inappropriate?And again :)
If that "../" at the beginning of the link was inserted not by you but our system, i would really appreciate for the way how you made it.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Well, mayby I after uploading the picture just clicked insert without marking the actual picture. If this shoulden't matter, I don't know what I did different from a normal rutine.
Was this a help? -
Inappropriate? Not really, actually the editor not let you to press insert button without selected picture
But anyway, thank for your help.
Was my post helpful for you ? -
Inappropriate?Well, I don't know what went wrong yet, but I can see that what was wrong in my templates are now fixed. Just hope that it doesn't happen again ;)

I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Anyway, all images should be shown when you sending test campaign.
So, please, test it before sending the campaign -
Inappropriate?the same thing happened to me. i just added the images like normal in the Visual Editor, but they didn't come through. After reading these posts, I had to go in the HTML editor and paste "http://app.newsberry.com" before the image code. that fixed it. thanks!

Inappropriate?Thank you for your help Jon
I've already asked our QA manager to test it again and find out the issue, so we can fix it.
Can you tell what kind of browser are you using and the platform (Mac or PC) to make it faster ? -
Inappropriate?I am using mac, firefox newest versions...
I was doing the same yesterday, and this time it worked great. So mayby it was a one time thing... I don't know.
