Google Reader Syncing

I would love to see NetNewsWire sync with Google Reader. The fact is, google reader is better then NewsGator online. Sorry, but it's true. And AFAIK, FeedDemon (which NewsGator makes) syncs with google reader, but NetNewsWire can't. Why?
