Well, the app itself doesn't use the logo anywhere. Like most apps, there's not much of a point to put it anywhere within the application. It might get more action some day, but for the time being, it's just a simple little logo for the public site. :)

Inappropriate?I suppose it depends on which logo you're talking about. The Next Update logo is really just on the Next Update site. (http://nextupdate.com) and the Sifter logo will be on the Sifter site when it launches (http://sifterapp.com), but it won't really be in the app.

Inappropriate?One place where it would be useful would be as a Fluid application icon. I made a single-site browser for Sifter and photoshopped an icon for it. This could be added to the header:
