Inappropriate?I want to clarify to make sure I understand what you're looking for. Can you add a little more information about the goal you're trying to accomplish?
For instance, are you looking for a better summary of your issues across all of your projects, or are you hoping to use that page as a central todo list?
This is definitely something that's on the radar in one form or fasion. We're right in the middle of refactoring and updating the issue listing pages within projects to have significantly enhanced filtering and sorting.
After that's finished, we're planning on updating the Dashboard now that we've been using Sifter day in and day out for several months. Our goal with the dashboard update is multi-pronged.
1. Provide a better high level summary of the current state of your projects.
2. Provide a better overview of the recent activity across your projects.
3. Provide a centralized way to see everything on your plate across all of your projects.
I'm not sure if we'll get all of that in the next iteration of the Dashboard, but those are things we're looking at.

I'm loading issues in to Sifter (moving them from Basecamp To Dos mainly) and realising that I really will ultimately need a global view of issues with the same filtering options as for within a project.
Specifically I would like to be able to view all open tickets by date created or for example all 'bugs' or other categories by date/priority. This single view adds tremendous value to the system as a issue tracker/helpdesk ...
