Limited html formatting
Limited html text formatting would be nice to input in the text fields when creating or commenting on a issue. Such as: bold, italics, underline, ordered lists, bullet lists, etc. Similar to Basecamp.

Inappropriate? We're keeping this in the back of our minds, but we don't have any current plans to support it. Using options like Textile and Markdown, while useful for technical users, can ultimately confuse people who aren't familiar with them, and allowing limited markup opens up a different can of worms.
Ultimately, while these features are nice, we've found that few people actually miss them. It's still possible to do some basic text formatting with asterisks and other text symbols, and, while it's not pretty, it's simpler and doesn't confuse or surprise anyone.
There's some related information in a thread about embedding images. If we add anything, it's more likely that we'd allow some basic html tags, but at this point, it's an pretty low priority.
I’m apologetic

Inappropriate?Adding another vote to this. I'd be fine with training the team on using something simple like textile if it means we can avoid the "you didn't bold this sentence" conversations over and over.
I’m hopeful
