Save the state of the issues list
Hi,
It would be handy if Sifter could remember the state of the issues listing view. For example, I always want mine to show Open, Reopened and Resolved issues (currently the default) but also only ones that are assigned to me or unassigned.
Not sure if it would be best to have it constantly remember the current state, or just have the ability to set your own default filter.
Cheers,
Jack

Inappropriate? This is something we're already planning. We want to enable people to save their own "views" that are a combination of filters and sorts that you could use across projects.
We just added filtering at the end of the beta, and it was phase one of this. We still want to add date-based filtering as well.
I’m personally excited about this feature

Inappropriate?Sounds great. Out of interest, is there any published roadmap of planned features anywhere? Be good to know what's coming.

No. I'm not sure that we'll ever publish a roadmap because people would get upset if we deviate from it or change it entirely. We're using the amount of "me too's" on Get Satisfaction to influence where we go next, but even that's not a definite factor in helping us decide.
That said, right now, Email, Search, and the API are our highest priorities in terms of new features. Improving filtering and saving filters is up there as well. We're still investing a lot of time in refactoring and paving the way for the new features, but that's winding down.
As soon as we start new features, I'll start posting about the design process before we release the features so we can gather feedback and make improvements before launching them.
