Should clicking the project title reset the filters?
One thing I constantly get frustrated with is the difference between the link on the right sidebar labeled "Return to Issue Listing" (which is small and not in the header where I typically associate navigation), and clicking the project title in the header. To me, the most natural way to return to the list is by clicking the project name, which I feel should go back to the view I had before - in other words, behaving the same as the "return to issue list" button on the right-hand side.
This is sort of my number one pain-point with Sifter right now, although I suppose I'll learn after being swearing and having to reset my filters a few dozen more times... ;-)

Inappropriate? It's a good question, and the answer is that I'm not really sure. On one hand, I understand, but on the other hand, I would think that changing that primary link would be confusing because it is kind of a "home" link like having the logo of a web site link home.
Additionally, that link often returns you to the dashboard in which case using the project title as the link is clearly incorrect and unexpected. So, the link would end up being very conditional, and borderline unpredictable for an average user.
Without more people complaining about it, I have to believe that it is behaving as expected for most people. As for learning the behavior, don't forget that in most of the cases, your back button will be just as effective.
Side note: In my initial designs, the return link was above the project header, but it ended up taking up a disproportionate amount of space. I explored 3 or 4 different options, but none of them felt right. That was a while ago, though, so I'll see if I can't give it some more thought.
I’m appreciative of the feedback
