First off, thank you for playing our games. We're excited to see so many people enjoying our products.
There has been some reports of Topple crashing for users. This is due to a memory leak on the iPhone and iPod Touch devices. If you are experiencing this issue, please try restarting the device. In some extreme cases, you may need to delete the application from your phone and reinstall.
If that doesn't address your issue, please report a problem with as much detail as possible.
Your feedback is extremely valuable to us in order to create a more satisfying game experience.

Inappropriate?I've had the same problems as mentioned by others with this game on my iphone -- it keeps crashing! I have yet to play the game because it never lets me get that far. I have uninstalled it and re-installed it twice with the same result.

Sorry you're having this problem still.
You did not explicitly state this in your post, so I must ask: Have you tried restarting your iPhone before reinstalling the application?
Please let me know if this works out for you. Again, this is an issue that's affecting a small number of our users and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Inappropriate?Yes, I've uninstalled Topple, turned off my iphone, turned it back on and re-installed the game three times. It still crashes whenever I get to the screen to start playing the game.

Inappropriate?One more thing to try, if you don't mind.
Can you do the same process (uninstall Topple, restart), but instead of re-installing Topple, try deleting Topple from iTunes and re-downloading. The application for some reason may be corrupt from when you first downloaded and that could be causing problems.
You will not be charged for the re-download. Please try re-installing the fresh download.
Again, please let us know if that works. -
I wish I could say that it worked, but it didn't. Now when I get to the "play" screen, it either crashes or takes me back to my iphone directory screen. -

I'd like to eliminate all possible issues before escalating this to one on one phone support.
1) Have you restarted after installing the fresh re-downloaded app? Try doing a hard reset by holding down the home and standby buttons for a few seconds. This is outlined here: http://www.hardreset.eu/apple_iphone_...
2) This unfortunately could be a result of a larger underlying issue with the device itself. Would you be willing to back up your iPhone in iTunes and do a restore? This option can be found under the device's tab in iTunes when it's plugged in. This process is also outlined on the same link above: http://www.hardreset.eu/apple_iphone_...

If you could provide me some additional details in the email as well it would be greatly appreciated: What generation iPhone and what version of the OS you're running, etc. The version number can be found at Settings -> General -> About -> Version.
Also please consider leaving a number for another phone so that we can trouble shoot your iPhone together.

None of these steps worked for me and Iam still having problems with Topple. I`ve paid for it a week ago, and yet to play! An update it needed. -

Can you please verify that Topple still does not work after a full restore? -
Inappropriate?Well my iPhone 3G`s OS has four abstraction layers: the Core OS layer, the Core Services layer, the Media layer, and the Cocoa Touch layer. The operating system takes less than half a gigabyte (GB) of the device's total memory storage. Its the latest released version of iPhone OS 2.1.
After a full restore and anything else mentioned it does not Work, It still crashes on few seconds in after it loads up. As i said, an update would be great since it will act as a blanket over this rigid problem. And doing is ASAP would not just be great for the customers, but also for the company since your reputation is getting worse by the reviewers on the iTunes store.

I totally agree. How can you have a product which just simpy doesn't work at all? This among other apps is giving me a bad taste about the iphone in general. These things are only worth anything if they do what they claim and actually work. -
Inappropriate?Still not working. Topple crashes after the upload as well and I have no idea how to solve the prob. best would be to get the money back. It ́s no fun at all.

We released an update to Topple on 11/6. Did you update the game? It was designed to address low memory conditions on the phone.

I've purchased all the Ngmoco games, including Topple 2. But I really wish I had the nice, simple original back. Feel a little cheated after being told to delete and reinstall it. -
