I'm just getting my sea legs with a Nikon D200 (borrowed from my mum). The camera comes with a Nikon 28-105mm and a Tamron 28-300mm. I realize the focal length differences makes this an apple to oranges comparison, but based on the manufacturer are their quality issues I should be aware of when determining the lens to use?
