At the moment, Ning offers the possibility to create categories for the main forum.
However, this is not yet possible for the group discussions.
What a great idea it would be to add this feature !

Hi Laura,
Any news on the progress of this idea being placed on the road map, for development? Our Ning Network Tips are in a Group, and lots of Discussions. It gets pretty messy trying to find Tips with no categorization available. This is an extremely popular group, even for members who would not want their premium Ning Networks listed in the Ning Directory. It would be awesome if we could categorize the Group Discussions.
