Need to be able to disable the ability for group members to broadcast messages.
Spammers are abusing our groups by joining them and then broadcasting messages to the entire group, and then moving on to the next one. I've tried to figure out how to disable the ability for group members to broadcast messages, but I can't seem to find it anywhere so I'm suggesting it here as a way of combating spam...which seems to be getting worse on my site every day.

Inappropriate?Oh! Actually, I just learned that this can be toggled for each of the groups' settings -- but it would be ideal to be able to control that at a global level through the admin interface.

Inappropriate?This is a huge vulnerability, anyone know if they will be adding the ability to control group email at the global level soon?
We're also starting to get killed with spam...very bad for ning. Once spammers figured out Pligg it killed that platform as well.
I hope ning wakes up and makes this simple change. Everything else is awesome.

As a Network Creator, you actually already have complete control over this. As Matt K pointed out above, you can toggle this feature on each group. On some groups (for example, a private, invite-only group), you might want this option on.
If you do not want members to have access to this option, then you should go to Manage>Features controls and make sure "Allow members to create groups" is unchecked.
