What about the Company announcement for a facelift of broadcast messaging?

I have the question to the employees from Ning: Is it always on the desk for November? or will Ning change the date for improvements to notifications and broadcast messaging. Ning has written: " After making these improvements, we’ll give our Broadcast Message feature a facelift and allow for HTML in the broadcasts sent to members of your Ning Network, guests of an event and members of a group. Finally, we’ll make it easy to customize the message that is sent to new members when they join, and give Network Creators and Administrators a way to automatically leave a comment on a new member’s Comment Wall. These updates are slated to happen after the email notification improvements.

I'm not 100% clear on what release you're asking about. If you're wondering if our email notifications release is still slated for November — it sure is. And we'll be posting details about what's in that release in the coming days on the Ning Blog.
We're aiming to tackle HTML broadcast improvements shortly after that too, and automatic comments for new members and customized welcome messages are a bit farther down the roadmap (though still a priority).

Inappropriate?Hi Evan, thanks for your reply. I am asking for HTML broadcast improvements to be informed about these improvements. So I will be patient in this case.
Have you noticed this idea http://getsatisfaction.com/ning/topic... - many members asking me that if it is possible to be informed about group activities with better email notifications. Notifications for groups are unspecified and that's sometimes a problem for selecting messages. With other words: they are deleting these notifications.

Thanks for clarifying. I wasn't sure if you were asking about the email notifications project, or about HTML broadcast messages.
In terms of HTML for broadcast messages, that's very high on our priority list, and we hope to add that feature shortly. Keep an eye on the Ning blog for news!

Sounds great. There's a little bit of bad news in that we probably don't have enough time to get the strings translated in time for the release, but if they don't make it, they should be translated shortly thereafter. You also should be able to translate them yourself in the meantime, if you don't want any English exposed.
