Dead DS

My DS just is not starting up. Its dead after charging. There was no warning. battery was good two days before

I’m Worried

Did you take the battery out and put it back in again? I think that is the only way to "reset" this device.

It took me a while to find a screw driver small enough to unscrew the cover but i did. I thought it had worked; but the screens just came on just for a second (the Nintendo logo was displaying) but then they went black again and I cant get it restarted, despite repeating the 'reset'.

I’m resigned to junking it

Have you used any homebrew on your DS? Any hardware or firmware modifications?

Hi Krazy
Thanks for your reply - No I haven't tinkered with it. One thing might have happened is that it got wet. there is a little red sticker in the battery compartment. It looks like it might be, though I haven't actually seen one before, one of those moisture indicators like you get in mobile phones.
