Inappropriate?There is a 2 player mode in SMG. Player 1 controls mario like normal, but player 2 waves around the wiimote collecting starbits. They can also stun some enemies by pointing at them and pressing the button. My 4-year old plays with me (I'm 33) and loves it. He actually helps me out in the game, and we both have a great time playing together.

Inappropriate?Ah, that must be what I heard about. Cool, so the second player is a helper. My seven-year-old son and I have played Lego Star Wars on the PS2 and the collaboration aspect is great. This sounds right up our alley.
