Hey there !
I have been trying to send some “notifixes” to my GTalk for a while (Add another channel)... I can never get the confirmation code. I have tried on Safari & Firefox (Mac OS X), even with the Windows XP GTalk application. Never got the code :-(
Am I missing something? Do I input something wrong in the Google ID field (tried my email address, with and without the ‘@gmail.com’) ?
Thanks for your answer,
Keep up the good work!
Sebastien
Hi there - I downloaded the files. Im not sure how to install the plugin folder -- do i just drag the entire folder (with all files) into my mt-static/plugins folder? When i did this, I did not get the "upgrade" notice and the plugin dows not appear in my plugin listing.
I'm trying to register https://dev.openwrt.org/log/trunk/ and the page tells me "We're sorry, but we could not find any source to follow with this url. Can you try with another one, of with the corresponding RSS/Atom feed?" I tried the latter and it didn#t work as well.
I downloaded this plugin, registered but on my settings screen it is saying my blog is not registered. When I go into register, I can sign in ...it does recognize me but then I only seem to be prompted to identify other sites I want to updated on. I don't want other people's content, I want my readers to notified of my updates. What am I doing wrong.
Can I import my database of already existing emails, and then add to it from this point forward? I have thousands of email addresses in our mailing list and want to use the notifixious widget for announcement sign ups...
I'm planning on adding the MT plugin to my blog.
However I'm not sure what to expect form a user perspective.
1) When a user "usbcribes" to my posts using an email address, will he automatically start being notified, or will he have to have a Notifixious account?
2) Will I have a local database where I can go fetch the email addresses of people who have subscribed?
I contacted you before about this problem. My widget is not alerting me or anyone else that is signed up to receive alerts from my blog. It started working again from the last time it stopped alerting people, but I made a post a little while ago and got nothing in my inbox. Help Please!! =(
My blog is sarahelizabethart.typepad.com
I am not receiving any notifications, either on my email account or my gtalk service. How can I debug the problem further? Is there a log of RSS scanning that I can check to make sure that my several RSS feeds are being parsed correctly?
Has anyone received any updates with Notifixious? I've yet to receive one for my site. There's a problem with the widget and my site so that's one thing, but even when I subscribe via the Notifixious site itself, I get the confirmation code, confirm it, but then nothing happens...Just wondering if it's working for anyone, or it's just me that is having problems.
Place verification code in first 140 characters of emails. When subscribing using a mobile email address the code is too far down and gets lost when the message gets truncated.
It worked for awhile, people were receiving updates on my blog but all of a sudden it stopped! had to send a mass email to get people to sign back up for it...little embarrassing. I added it myself via email but havent received alerts for my last two posts. Any idea why i did that or if it will do it again? thx
I was successful in adding notifixious as my gtalk buddy. I am receiving the confirmation message, but when I try to input the code, it says that it is invalid. See screencap.
