Actually, it will be listed in the page of your source for a little time only (until you refresh for example), just in case you change your mind!
We will add the ability to delete sources, if, and only if, there is no other "subscriber" to it. (A source can have several subscribers, it would not be very nice to delete it for other subscribers!)
Thanks for the explaination!
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Actually, you can't delete a source. Of course, you can unsubscribe from it (see 'sources' when you're logged in). And, if nobody follows a given source, we will stop fetching its content.
Is it something that makes sense for you or do you actually want to delete a source from Notifixious?
Anyway, thanks for the input!
I’m unsure

Inappropriate? What if I accidentally subscribe to a source that I no longer want. I can unsubscribe from it, but it will still be listed in my list of sources.
This seems like a mistake. If I have many sources listed, having sources I don't care about mixed with those I do care about would be confusing.
Feature request: I want the ability to delete sources. Deleting sources should unsubscribe all subscribed channels.
I’m requesting a new feature

Inappropriate?Could you expand on how what sources I subscribe to effect others? I don't understand how my source subscriptions are associated to any other Notifixious user's subscriptions.
Basically, I just don't want sources I don't care about any longer listed with those I do care about.
It doesn't make sense that I have to have sources listed in my source list, just because another user has subscribed to it.
Is there really anyone else subscribed to craigslist RSS search results for"
"mac mini" Intel Core Duo
If so, they better not score a deal on one before me.
I’m confident we'll fix this.

Inappropriate?A "source' is something public: your blog is a source, a craigslist search is a source, ... etc.
Then, a source can have several private subscriptions.
You're right, your subscriptions have nothing to do with other's subscriptions. However, you and me might be susbcribed to the same source. If you delete the source, then, how can I be notified?
Basically, the problem is maybe in the fact that the tab that shows your subscriptions is called "sources", maybe we should rename it subscriptions?
Again, in this subscriptions list, only your current susbcriptions are displayed, and, if your "unsusbcribe" from a source in this liast (by clicking on a red cross) we will not refresh the screen immediately, just in case you change your mind, but if your referesh the page, the source will be gone!
And for the Mac Mini, maybe I'll put an alert as well, and sell it back to you with a premium ;)
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Great News! I think we're on the same page now.
Yes, please rename "sources" to "subscriptions" =)
Ok, I can now delete subscriptions I create, but not the first one I added. It seems this one remains there. Bug?
I’m feeling that we're making progress
