Delays with Page2RSS sites?
Hi, I am using notifyme to monitor a site that doesnt publish a feed and is therefore using Page2RSS.
I am noticing that the website I am monitoring is updating but the email or desktop app isnt updating until a number of hours later.
on the page2rss page (http://page2rss.com/page?url=xxxxxxxx...) it says "Last Checked: 07/07/09 11:43:28" (EST) it is now 15:56 EST.
Am I correct in thinking notifyme cant check the these type of sites as frequently as sites that publish feeds?

That's correct, notify.me relies on page2rss to publish an rss update for a site in order for a notification to be generated and delivered.

Inappropriate?You could find another service like page2rss that checks the site more frequently and plug in that url instead.
In our research we have found that page2rss is best of breed. But that was about 1 year ago.
