Feed filtering / priority assignment base on keyword / tags
How about keyword / tag search in feeds to assign feed priority or filtering?
-- Allow users to define keywords or tags that interest them. Perhaps with different levels of alertness associate to different pool of tags.
-- Pre-fetch the content of the feed, parse for keyword / tags. Assign alert / interest levels, and priorities.
Users are definitely interested in certain feeds more than others from the same source. So this will help them be better informed.

Inappropriate?Hi Bowei,
Thanks for the input, feed filtering is definitely on the notify.me feature road map, we hope to include it as a feature in the not too distant future. -
Inappropriate? This is a feature I'm really excited about in notify.me. Filtering and grouping by tags will allow for some creative sets of notifications to be made, which I hope our users share over on wiki.notify.me
I’m excited

Inappropriate? Thanks for adding feed filtering. It works great. I like to see a couple improvement on the filter add/remove process though I'm guessing it's probably on your to-do list already:
1) Needs a way to edit a filter.
2) Allow removal of include or exclude filter instead of everything
3) I'm not clear on what the "include" filter does. If you don't exclude it, isn't it an automatic include?
4) How about inline filter text edit like this example: http://www.yvoschaap.com/instantedit/ for a simpler interface. -
Inappropriate?Points 1 and 2 are already on the todo list.
Point 3.
- Include means: that an update must include one of the keywords or it will be ignored
- Exclude means: that an update does includes a keyword we will ignore it.
Hani is going to write up a wiki page describing this in a lot more detail. We will use it as a help link.
Point 4 is nifty. I'll catalog it under, nice to have.
I’m confident
