i get a picture mail that says message incomplete now for my sms messages. anyone know whats up with this?

it seems that some go through as normal SMS but some get sent as MMS/picture messages i don't know what the contents is because my phone just says "incomplete message" when i try and open the picture ones.

i have new posts to http://twitter.com/garyvee sent via SMS. these used to get sent as SMS but it seems like all of them get sent via MMS/picture now.
any ideas?
