SMS channel other than those listed (RU)
The SMS validation doesn't work when I try to Add Russia, choosing Other for provider, then putting 7 985 xxx xx xx. What could be the problem?

notify.me currently relies on sms email gateways to deliver text messages to your mobile phone. If your provider supports the sms email gateway, ie. your mobile phone has an email address we'll be glad to get your setup. Please let me know the mobile carrier name, the country, and the email address format and we'll get it setup in the service.
In the future we do plan on providing text message delivery through the SMS gateway and without requiring an sms email gateway. -

I have added Megafon(RU) as an option for the sms destination. In the above message you noted that the number would be 792xxxxxxxx@sms.mgsm.ru ... what is the 792 for? Should 792 be prepended to all messages sent? or is it simply <phone_number>@sms.mgsm.ru (this is currently how we have it configured). Please try out the service and let us know if it works for you.

International code for Russia is +7. For carrier Megafon all its subscribers gets numbers with first two digits 92 - so phone number is +7-92X-XXX-XX-XX. If you add Megafon (RU) - than i should not choose any country code - it is +7 already. I just need to enter 92X XXX XXXX - and your service should send an sms to the address 792XXXXXXXX@sms.mgsm.ru Sorry for my bad English -

We automatically prepend the country code when we construct the email address; therefore, when you enter your phone number you should start from 92. Let us know if you succeed in getting a validation sms.

No good for me. When I select Megafon (RU) and enter 927XXXXXXXX it says i need to choose Country Code. In that list Russia listed as just "+" - that's wrong. I should choose Megafon (RU), Russia (+7) and enter 92XXXXXXXX. Thanks -

After Validation Code there should be a short alpha numeric string. That should be your validation code. Do you not see an alpha numeric string after Validation Code? -
No. Just that string. Megafon's email-sms gateway allows only 140 characters in latin (or 70 in russian with win1251 or koi8-r encoding). Could it be that message is truncated? Do I get it right that =?UTF-8?B?0JjQs9C+0YDRjCDQn9C+0YLQsNC/0L7Qsg==? - is just header for message? And "Validate Code " is just a part of the body? -

We will have to add some support to determine which headers to add/remove to support sending sms notifications to various providers. Let me know if this works for you and let me know if the notification messages you receive are usable once your sms destination is validated.

Inappropriate?Well, Megafon (RU) cellphone number don't work. I don't know where the problem is. I receive message sent from my email account to Megafon's sms-email-gate just fine. But don't get validation code from notify.me when edit phonenumber im my settings. Can you verify it accepts emails to 7927XXXXXXX@sms.mgsm.ru? TIA
