Telus Canada - received validation code, but can't activate SMS feature

Hey guys,

I'm in Canada and my carrier is Telus. I tried to set up the SMS option and even though I did receive the validation code through SMS it's not working. The system won't accept my validation code, and it just keeps telling me my carrier is not supported when I try to punch it in. The thing is that my carrier is in the options when I have to select a carrier... If I try to have a new validation code sent, I get an error page? Any ideas of what's going on?
