The MatrixStore is being chosen as a pre-production and nearline archive for a number of AVID based workflows in the UK.

Clients wish to keep their production disk (Unity) the right size by moving content on to a more appropriate, self-managing tier of storage.

The MatrixStore is integrated with CatDV which understands AVID projects and productions. Moving content from production disk to MatrixStore with CatDV is a simple operation. Watch this space for more integrations into AVID asset management tools.
