Email-id for login
Can the login system accept user name and email id? And incase of a wrong username, the message can be lot friendlier than "Enter a valid value".

We considered this idea sometime back here at oCricket. We really want the user to be able to change her email id in the future. This won't be possible if we start accepting email ids as usernames; and we also want to keep this simple at the moment and not allow both usernames & email ids.
If remembering all these user names & passwords is a problem, I would recommend that you use OpenID for logging into oCricket. We are going to introduce OpenID support soon :)
