HTML editor is unusable
Hi,
I think we've sent our last sendloop campaign for now.
The updated(?) html editor is just insanely frustrating. I can't believe that's the state of the art. It makes terrible HTML and, to make it worse, clicking "html" to get into html mode to try to fix it just gives a javascript error (and all your work is lost).
"2prototype.js (line 420)URIError: URI error
tiny_mce.js (line 1)TypeError: Result of expression 'na' [undefined] is not an object.
4prototype.js (line 420)URIError: URI error"
are the errors from the console.
Speaking of lost work: The system refuses to save the mail if the unsubscribe link is missing. Great! Way to make it easy to, again, lose your work! Why not check if it's there before scheduling the mail to be sent?

Inappropriate?Hi Cem,
I don't think it saved the draft. Really then the problem is just that the editor is way too hard to use and complicated. We've been trying out Mailchimp and their editor might have less features, but the template tools they have are easy to use and the HTML editor for the mail content is great. I'd suggest you do a little "competitive analysis" on it. ;-)
One neat feature that they have (and you might too, but it's hard to find in the cluttered toolbar) is a big "clear styles" button to reset the styles.

Inappropriate?Jennifer, I am sorry to hear that Sendloop is not suiting your needs. Our service is mainly for web designers, web agencies, coders and marketers.
Mailchimp is another really good and popular solution which provides easy-to-use interface and professional features for novice users, professionals and experts. If you believe that Sendloop does not fit your needs, you can try mailchimp.com
Cheers.
