how long will this take? in the meantime we are all sending out below-standard newsletters, or even worse bombarding the support team so much they are too busy to answer our queries??

We apologize for the delay on help articles. However, I need to mention that we provide support service for only how to use our system. HTML email designing is beyond our service limits.
Our rich text editor is a standard WYSIWYG editor that helps you to build basic HTML email newsletters. If you are going to use more advanced codes and tags inside your HTML email newsletter code, it's always better to design and code your HTML email on a third party HTML editor such as Macromedia Dreamweaver (Win/Mac OS X) or Textmate (Mac OS X). Later on, you can copy&paste the HTML code you have prepared into Sendloop and run professional, good looking email campaigns.
Sendloop is a self-service email marketing service that helps web designers, web agencies and marketers to run email campaigns for themselves or on behalf of their customers.
