Personalisation error?
I am currently trying to send a newsletter in which I am personalising at the top with the subscriber's name.
I sent a preview two different accounts, however the name that appears is "Peter". There is no subscriber within the list called Peter. Both of my accounts are within the subscriber list. I used the "personalise email" drop down box within the Sendloop editor to add in Subscriber name.
Can you suggest what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for your question. When you send a preview email to your email address(es), Sendloop picks a subscriber randomly and personalizes the email content with this subscriber information.
It's normal to see someone else's information when you send a preview email to your self.

There is nobody within the subscriber list called "Peter" (which is the name that is being generated). How can I be sure that the correct names will work when i decide to send it?

Please send me your Sendloop account username or sub-domain by email and we will check it for you.
Follow these steps to test the personalization for your emails:
1. Create a subscriber list for testing
2. Import your own email address(es) into the list
3. Create and send a campaign to this list
Once the campaign is sent to your test list, check your emails for the personalization. You will see that it's done correctly based on your subscriber information.
If you send me your account URL, we will check your campaign and let you know why "Peter" is added.
