Shipping to Canada
When I got my invite to try out the beta I was really excited; I was on my way to SXSW and thought getting a custom guide book to Austin TX would greatly help with exploring the city. Unfortunately, however, the book shipped too late to reach me in time in Toronto (Canada), so I only received it when I returned.
I'm now looking at signing up for the affiliate program, but am concerned that my customers here in Canada will have the same disappointing experience. Could you comment on whether you've improved shipping lead time for customers outside the USA?

Inappropriate?Hi Martin,
Thanks for pointing this out to us. Did we give you a refund for the guide that did not arrive in time? Since your last order, we have built more padding into the printing and shipping process so hopefully this issue should not appear again.
The reason we choose to ship it close to the date is that it pulls in the latest updates on events and weather just days before the trip.
Alternatively, a guide can be sent to the printer at any time after the order is placed. Many customers choose this if they want to read through the guide before the trip starts or if it's a present.
Hopefully this answers your question.
Please let us know if you have any other comments or questions and thanks for using Offbeat Guides!
Best regards
Alexandra
