showing kids how adictive gambling is, is not really a 'great idea', even if it's with fake money.
also, you can buy coins with a SMS soon, and knowing howmany kids have a celphone, they will buy milions of coins, if they get adicted.

i think you should not be able to take other peoples coins like you should have a certain number of chips and you should play till someone wins then they win they same amout as any other game 1st 140 coins
2nd 70coins 3rd 35 coins it should be like that -

Inappropriate?I think playing poker could be totally fun and awesome, but I think to avoid any gambling issues maybe we shouldn't play for coins, since then you'd have people gambling real money and there are gambling laws :P

i see what zyro means but i learnt poker when i was like 9 or something
and i am not addictive and hardly play so i think kids would not take it that seriously.
there is also a problem about what type of poker because there are so many types

Inappropriate?poker just doesn't seem like a good idea. For one thing, it would take forever for a real game to go on. for another, the age problem. online gambling isn't really a good idea. and a 3rd problem is that it would too easy to manipulate it. just make another guest and make them lose to you in an all in bet and someone automatically has double to start with. That took me 3 seconds to think of. I think poker is out. -

Inappropriate?Seems good, but i think involving coins is not that good. gambling is also not good either. If not worth coins, just xp in the end, would be a little better. I play Poker on Pirates of the caribbean, but it's not something like betting real things. Won't be good involving voins, I say.

Inappropriate?Maybe there should be two types of currencies. There will be the original coins that are available now so you can purchase and use them to buy all the stuff that they sell on the site now, and then there will be the currency only for poker games that can't be purchased. So no one loses money for real when they play.
Plus, poker is fun, dont take it so seriously. It would be a great addition to omgpop!
