Actions Not Staying Applied

I reported this problem in the forum, but figured it would be good to bring it up here as well. When I assigned an action to something it would apply for a second until I clicked off and when I went back to make sure the action was still attached it was gone. The fix I've found for this is to change the font to anything and then change it back to what it was, then the action will stay applied.
