It would be great if Omnigraffle was more friendly towards source control management systems
It would be great if there was an option to save an omnigraffle document as text document (XML, YAML, or some other format) or package of text documents so we could more easily deal with conflicts when using a source code managment system like Git or Subversion to manage revisions of our document.
It wouldn't necessarily need to be a merge friendly format, but even breaking out canvases into their own documents could help with 2 people working on the same document concurrently.

Inappropriate? This is an excellent idea. There needs to be some way to manage revisions of the graffle documents in order for OmniGraffle to be a solution companies can rely on completely. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker for small companies, but for any org with a distributed workplace or multiple designers working on projects, using versioning systems is key.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?I haven't tested to see how well this works with SVN, but today I upgraded to OmniGraffle 5 Pro. This was an incredible upgrade: almost all of my prior gripes are now things of the past. It looks like there is a solution now to the versioning system issue as well, as now you can opt to save as a package (which is why there were challenges previously) or save as a flat file.
Yipeee!
I’m stoked
