Why is there an unfair pricing scheme for upgrade of OmniGraffle?
Why is the upgrade price to new version 5 Professional unfair to loyal customers who have paid for upgrades from earlier versions? Right now to upgrade from v3Pro is $74.95 and at the same time from v4Pro is $74.95. I paid $49.95 to upgrade for v3Pro to v4Pro. So, already I paid $49.95 more than all v3Pro users to upgrade to latest version. I am being penalized for being a loyal customer. This is NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Comments?

Inappropriate?Sorry for the confusion, George. We don't want to force folks to buy upgrades they don't feel they need just because they want to get some additional discount on some future version of the application that we haven't made yet.
We don't want to force folks onto an upgrade treadmill; we wanted to give folks the ability to skip an upgrade. Presumably version 4 included features that you found useful, and you've been using them since you purchased that upgrade. Folks that didn't need the features stuck with version 3 and never got them; why should they be forced to pay for them?
The upgrade system we have in place gives you a discount for being a previous customer, regardless of what version you bought. (If you decide to skip version 5 and come back for version 6, for example, you would benefit at that point.)

Inappropriate?I simply don't agree. I still think you are penalizing loyal customers and that you're thinking is counter intuitive. But, you hold the keys to the domain. So, if I'll wait 5 or 10 upgrades then maybe the product will be perfect.
