How one ONE/Northwest list owner creates HTML emails for use with Sympa lists.

One of the limitations of Sympa relative to higher end email tools (like Vertical Response, Constant Contact, WhatCounts, etc) is that it doesn't have the most robust feature-set when it comes to creating graphics rich HTML emails.

Lesley Adams at Klamath Siskiyou Wildlands Center http://www.kswild.org is responsible for their email newsletter sent via Sympa and here's what she does, in her own words: "I don't use a template, per se. I just use different fonts and colors in my email program and insert a .jpg banner at the top (banner changes depending on the season and issue, and I just change them in InDesign and export as a jpg).
