Adding OpenID login to website
I have a website, I'm planning to add more functions wich require registration. Can I use the openid system for this? If so: how?

There are libraries for PHP/Python/Ruby here: http://openidenabled.com/
JanRain.com also has a hosted solution that may be worth looking at depending on your technical prowess.

however the php library doesn't work for me, i just don't get it how do i work with it? tutorials on the net won't help me...
as far as i understand this is how it works
you enter you id url on a website
website redirects tot provider url for login
provider redirects to website
website takes care of the rest
now i don't understand how the communication between my website and de provider works... i think i can work out a system of my own to store the login information.
can you help me
