IM bot replies to activation with "Connection Failure"
WHen I added the IM bot as a buddy, that was OK and the bot requested an add, that was OK, but when I sent the activation code I got "Connection Failure" as a response from the bot.

Inappropriate?We currently have raised a security concern with the business partner who is providing the backend of our IM system.
Until that is fixed we have shutdown our IM bot interface to protect our user's privacy. When that security concern gets addressed we will turn on IM support again.
If that doesn't happen within a week we are going to implement our own workaround.
Keeping our users data secure and private is very important to us. -
Inappropriate?Ok we think we've got the IM bot working correctly.
Any statues sent via IM are now sent via standard IM protocols until it reaches our servers.
Once it reaches our servers we encrypt it from that point on to protect our user's privacy.
