What about autonomo.us?
How does Open Web Foundation compare to Autonomo.us? How would the OWF respond to / comment on the Franklin Street Statement?

Inappropriate?I just found out about Autonomo.us this past weekend from Luis Villa and Bradley Kuhn while at the FLOSS Foundations gathering. I think the two efforts are different but complimentary. I love the work happening with Autonomo.us and hope to participate more in the conversations.
Specifically, the OWF is about actual specs where Autonomo.us is about the ramifications of data in the cloud and what that is going to mean for users, companies and organizations in the future ... somebody correct me if I'm wrong on this.
I’m happy

Thanks Scott - I agree there's potential for ongoing collaboration, just want to make sure we don't end up with two unnecessarily competing orgs (FSF/OSI round 2?) -
I'm pretty deeply involved in autonomo.us, and I don't think there's much of an overlap. autonomo.us is a group blog and wiki about free (as in freedom) network services; OWF seems to be covering other ground. Like Scott said, complementary, not competitive.
Scott, would you or one of the other OWFers consider doing a guest blog post on autonomo.us about the OWF and where you see it going? -
Inappropriate? To Scott's point, I think that we're complementary... Just like the EFF (autonomo.us) and Creative Commons. Both have similar leanings, but different approaches and mandates.
When we found out about autonomo.us we took a good look and were very excited about what they were doing, but still felt that our efforts, especially as they were already underway, still could add something to the mix, if not offer to promote the differences and value that they'll bring to the conversation.
