The Open Web Foundation is an independent non-profit dedicated to the development and protection of open, non-proprietary specifications for web technologies.
In terms of the foundation structure, we're following the open source model, creating a bit of a hybrid based on organizations that have come before us such as the Apache Software Foundation and OpenID Foundation.
