How about a few Metalink improvements?
Just a few points which I thought would +really+ improve the use of Metalink:
1. When viewing SRs, the actual title of the browser window is the same as the URL of the page being viewed, because the HTML of the page being viewed does not contain the <title> tags in the HTML source. It'd be great if the <title> tags contained both the SR number and title, e.g: <title>5186843.993 | UNABLE TO CANCEL PO 1113328</title>.
Presumably this would be a simple change for you to make, and would really improve things, because if I have a number of windows open, it is useful to refer to the title of that window to see what I have open. Additionally, if you set this up, it would mean my browser history would contain meaningul information, as the title of pages are achived in the History (at least in Internet Explorer and Firefox).
2. The same applies for the pages displaying Notes - at the moment the <title> just says <title>ShowDoc</title>. That's not a lot of use - how about also following a convention like:
<title>Note:356335.1 | 11.5.10 ORA-20100 Error Occurred While Parsing: REQUIRED Attribute 'category' is not Specified</title>.
3. And - same again on the Forum pages - you could have <title>Forum Message Title | Forum Title </title>
These are small points, but with the potential to really improve the Metalink experience.</title></title></title>

Inappropriate? From time to time I have posted several feedbacks in Metalink about the usage of Metalink. Fonts is the most important point for me. We need even-spaced fonts like Courier to view the SRs and notes better. If you post a sqlplus output for example, Metalink does not display it with the appropriate font.
In some Metalink notes I saw that the author had written an explanatory message telling the reader to copy and paste this to notepad to view it better. This makes working in Metalink a pain. -
Inappropriate?Yes, I forgot about the font issue. I use Firefox, and go to Tools > Options and changing the 'Default Font' in the 'Fonts & Colours' section to Arial size16. That way, the SRs look a lot better, because they pick up this font setting, since the SR contains no stylesheet info about which font to use.
You can do the same in Internet Explorer via Tools > Internet Options > General Tab > Click the 'Fonts' button and choose from the 'Web Page Font' on the left hand side. That's IE6, I'm not sure about IE7.
