- OS 4.2.1+: Includes improved TwitPic support. Look for the 'Send to TwitterBerry' menu in the Media application when viewing images. TwitPic uploads are sent over direct TCP connections, see 'Connection Help' in the Settings page

Inappropriate?Hi everyone! We've posted Beta 2. When you download it, the version will still be labeled 0.9, so don't worry about that when you download.
This should fix the IllegalArgumentExceptions and large icons, and also add an option on the Configure screen to save Twitter profile pictures to your SD card, if you have one installed.
If you are having connection problems, please check out the Connection Doctor inside the Configure screen to test your connections to twitter.com and twitpic.com.
There is an option to send your support logs to Orangatame Support. If you have an error, please send the report before quitting & restarting TwitterBerry. Please note that this log is cleared every time you quit, so it will not consume any extra memory.

Thanks for the release - does it have to load all tweets every time you go to friends timeline - if I post a tweet of my own and then go back it takes an eternity to load everything up again! -
Inappropriate?Not crashed yet with the JavaLang error, however: CANNOT save after coming out of the CONFIGURATION menu, still can't upload to Twitpic (never could with anything over 70k), not keen on an entire Friends Update reload each time I send an update of my own...there you go.6 Comments Add a comment

Please open TwitterBerry, open the Configure screen from the menu. Next, you should find a Connection Doctor menu item. Cheers!

I see TCP connections are not working for your device. Please open the connection doctor again, and instead of clicking "Send Report to Support", choose "Lookup APN". It will take you to a website with additional settings to setup TCP connections on your BlackBerry Smartphone. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Inappropriate?Beta 4 is an improvement, but the "uncaught..."still occurs occasionally. Also, sending to TwitPic sends the picture fine, but it does not post the Tweet on Twitter for some reason. As you know, the progress bar sticks and does not disappear after it reaches 100% which is obviously annoying. Lastly, is there a way to make the time stamp on the tweets "not" italics since it's hard to read with certain themes?

Inappropriate?One more thing, is it at all possible to have the TwitPic URL come after the Tweet so this way if I wanted to send a tweet with a pic to a specific person ONLY I could do so from TwitterBerry and not have to wait until I get to my TweetDeck. Great app, btw.

Inappropriate?i had to make a twitter account for one of my classes and i decided i wanted to make a personal one as well is there. i logged in on my twitterberry with my university twitter is there anyway ican log out of it and log in to my personal one? i even deleted my school one so now it just says invalid password

Inappropriate?I get a fatal error (gray screen) when I send a tweet with a picture. The status bar goes to 100%, pauses, and then reboots automatically without posting the tweet. The image gets uploaded to TwitPic but there's no actual Tweet.

I've had that issue too Paul. Jason says it's being worked on for Beta 5... just out of curiosity, what setting do you have your connection set to?

I have it set to BIBS and allowed the HTTPS.
I just installed 4.7.0.122, I'll see what happens with that.
EDIT: Didn't work on .122 -
I personally found that (unless it was just coincidence) that When using TCP it would cause the reboot... but Autodetect would not. Perhaps the same is true for BIBS?
For me it doesn't totally solve the issue entirely... twitpic will hang at 100%. The image uploads but not the tweet. Occasionally it works but not always.
At least it might help you avoid the reboots! -
Tried switching it to Autodetect and got the same error. I wonder why that happens. Any word on when beta 5 will be released?

Understood. For some reason, letting my phone "think" it's auto detecting seems to help avoid reboots though :)
