Recently active problems in Orange Peel Media

When I take a screenshot from the windows client it adds an opaque layer to my entire computer and then I basically carve out what I want to take the screenshot of (crop), however my screenshot comes out still with a lighter opaque layer.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate ... all patches and everything is up to date.

Just a heads up guys - I seem to be getting duplicate comment notifications in email lately. If someone makes a comment on a scrnshot, I get the notification twice.

I just wanted to highlight this problem:

When I wanted to shut down my laptop, it was unable to perform the task and I was wondering why such a problem occurred. Then I realised that I had just installed ScrnShots(SS) and maybe, just maybe, its program affected my laptop's shut down capability. Why do I pinpoint SS?

Firstly, it ONLY happened after I installed SS.

Secondly, when I used SS the second time, it 'freezed' and I couldn't even see anything on the two windows which pops up. So, this time round, before performing a shut down, I clicked 'Quit ScrnShots Desktop' and everything went smoothly.

I am using Windows XP.

So, is my deduction correct?

I am using Firefox and I do not understand why whenever I open up/ click on SS, Opera is used to connect to ScrnShots?

The process of selection is very slow in windows (and I do have a decent pc where I play the latest games enc). But when selecting it really hangs int he beginning.

And also when I select the menu and I go click outside of the menu, it doesn't go away...

A lot of metalica pictures are being posted. I am really getting tired of those!

There appears to be a problem with viewing my "Favorites" screenshots. When you click on that tab, it only shows you your recent added ones. There is not Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, etc to navigate to my other 100+ Favorites

This has only happened a few times and it seems to correspond with slowness or non-responsiveness on scrnshots.com.

Once in awhile the desktop client will "freeze up" when a screenshot is uploaded. It won't activate either button in the promt (Close or View Screenshot) - they both stay inactive - there is now way out. The app won't quit either, must reboot OS X to make it reset. Weird.

The Windows client does not support international characters.

the upload button is very hard to notice. last time I visited ScrnShots I spent 15 minutes searching for "Uploader" button.

the button should be placed below the header and should be really big (compared to current)

One of my popular scrnshots isn't showing up in Explore Most Commented or Most Viewed, but does show on the home page - it was in both places yesterday.

Why is the "Flag as Inappropriate" link so close to the "Favorites" link???????

I accidentally hit the "Inappropriate" link when I wanted to hit the Favourites link. Can this be adjusted, somewhat? I like the site and all, but this is a little like walking a tightrope.

So I just downloaded and installed ScrnShots Desktop for my Mac, and playing around with it, and I went to check for updates, and now all the options are grayed out, and I can't even quit it. Also when I was setting it up, there was no feedback when my user name was incorrect
