We've definitely thought about this, and agree that it would be a very nice feature.
We're currently working on some simple zoom tools for the single screenshot pages, which wouldn't change the way the screenshot is uploaded, but rather the way that everyone can view it.
As far as editing a screenshot as you are uploading it, is still a little way off. We will definitely keep it in mind, though!

Inappropriate?Shup provides an image editor as a step between screenshot capture and uploading. The test version discussed in the Shup thread includes ScrnShots uploading support and will probably see a release this weekend.
