Feedback on the new ScrnShots Desktop Client
Love the app so far... here are a few ideas. Perhaps if the new ScrnShots Desktop emulated a few other capture tools, us screenshot junkies would even need the others...
Specifically, in Skitch you can click on the title bar of any window or desktop and it grabs the whole thing - really quick and easy. With Paparazzi, you enter a URL and give it size parameters and pow - PNG. Both of these features would greatly add to the ScrnShots Desktop yumminess.

Inappropriate?Oh, forgot one other thing... maybe a "chromeless grab" option so one could snag a whole webpage without drawing...
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Hey Eric, glad to hear that your loving the app so far. Great suggestions for the app. First, you can switch to "window" mode while taking a screenshot by pressing the space bar. This isn't really documented anywhere yet, so I wouldn't expect many people to realize that.
Second, I love the idea for Paparazzi like screenshots. It'll definitely be added to our long list of features we would like the app to do.
I’m thankful

Ah ha! The old undocumented feature trick! Thanks, window mode works great. -
Inappropriate?I get this pretty often when using the desktop client and taking a few screenshots one after the other.
The software sends up a VB window with an error that says some function or call didn't load. It basically gives the options that I can continue or quit.
Am using Firefox 2.X when this happens. Just trying to capture a webpage and when I do more than one capture. Say, out of 5 captures it will happen 1 or two times.
I will try to duplicate the error again so I can post the complete message, or else check my logs and see if it's in there.
Thanks -
Hey bwoodsdesign,
You are on Windows, I am assuming?
We'll have to look into that.
If you get a chance, take a screenshot of it the next time it happens, and if you find a reason for the problem let us know.
