More info in notification mails (new favorite)
when someone adds one of your screenshots as a favorite you get a notification mail which doesnt show what screenshot was faved. is there any way you can add some info to this mail? like URL, Description or thumbnail or something?

Inappropriate?There is actually a link to the screenshot in the email. It says something to the effect of "so-and-so favorited your screenshot", and the word screenshot is a link to the screenshot that was favorited. We are thinking of adding thumbnails of screenshots to the email, but we're sort of worried that it might seem a lot more spam-esque... any thoughts?

well okay, you want visits and traffic on your page but from the users point of view it would be more helpful if that mail would give any hint on what upload it was that was favorited. i know there is a link but i dont always have the time to click every link in those mails and so i just delete them. plus there is (afaik) no overview page showing me the latest favorited (or all) pics. right? i see the argument about HTML mails and spam but is it really like that if the mail itself has advantages? probably let the user decide which format. OR simpler- let us give the screenshots titles and mention them in this notification email. just ideas... -

We'll think about the thumbnails a bit more, and if anyone else has any thoughts about thumbnails in email notifications, speak up!
