Privacy Options
Is it possible to mark uploaded screenshots as private? By this I mean in a similar way to services like Flickr and Delicious which allow you to hide public sharing.

Inappropriate?Currently, ScrnShots does not allow for private screenshots. However it is going to be released with our next round of features which should be in 3 to 4 weeks.

Inappropriate?I'd definitely like to switch over to using scrnshots as my main depository for screen grabs as opposed to using flickr but the privacy options is the deal breaker for me as some of them include work in development which I'd like to share with colleagues and co-workers but not make public. Until the privacy options are in I wont be able to make the switch. I look forward to the next round of updates.
Thanks -
Inappropriate? It might be cool to use tags (like "private", "friends", etc) to do this. That way you don't need to add check boxes to the interface.

thanks randulo! we'll definitely keep that in mind. -
Inappropriate?Just wandered if the privacy options have been added yet?
-
Hey typo,
The privacy options have not been added yet. We we're planning on releasing them with "Pro" accounts which have been completely slowed down by the wonderful payment gateways in Canada. We are considering releasing the privacy options before our "Pro" accounts now. We will post back when we have a concrete answer for you. -
Inappropriate?Hi Greg,
Thanks for the update. I was hoping that it would be included as one of the features of regular accounts as it is with many other sharing apps. I'd rather have a limit of how much I can upload per month rather than no privacy options for sharing, much like services such as Flickr and Evernote do. Is this likely to happen? -
I totally agree with this! -
Inappropriate?Yeah it looks like this is the route that we are going to be taking for now. Again, we haven't made any "official" / concrete decisions on it, but I think its pretty safe to say that its the route we're going.

Inappropriate?Sounds great. I'll keep listening out for updates but if you can post back here when a final decision is made that will be helpful.
Thanks.
