www.learningactionscript3.com is down. I saw that people had a problem with it 5 months ago. What is the status now?
Frankly, I had higher expectations of this book because it was an O'Reilly publication. I was looking for a resource to use to teach a course on ActionScript 3, but I am going to return this book and not consider it, because the book claims to offer resources that are not available. Exercises are an important part of the education process and the promise of including such, was a selling point of this book.
I bought Learning AS3.0 recently, and have had a great experience with the first chapter. However, as the examples become more complex, I find I'm being referred to look at/use sample code files/source code, which are nowhere to be found. I didn't get a CD with the book, and I've been searching on the web-site without any luck. Am I just misunderstanding the directions?
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that on page 132 of Learning Actionscript 3.0 on the fourth line down the word animations is spelled "animfations". Just thought I'd let you know.
the site learningactionscript3.com is not coming up. i have the latest version of flash 9 and still nothing. i have tried using IE 7 and firefox and still all i get is a blank page.
I purchased Learning Actionscript 3.0 and there is supposed to be a companion CD with it. The CD is missing. How do I obtain this cd - or - can I download it?
