iPhoto 08 - Something missing from The Missing Manual

I was really hoping the Missing Manual would have a chapter on how to design your own book templates. From a perusal of the Table of Contents, it appears the new edition does not have this - the previous edition of the book did describe how to do this, but iPhoto 08 defines book templates differently. Unless I'm wrong, I regret I won't be buying the book.

electronic downloads - approximate data of availability?

Hi, I want to buy:

http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/978059...

but really need a PDF. I guess electronic downloads are typically introduced after the print version...

i guess this makes sense but i was wondering: is there any guideline as to WHEN you typically make the PDF version available for purchase? i.e. usually, how long does one have to wait before this becomes an option with new titles? months? years? case-by-case basis (i.e. depends on print sales)?

thx!
